Allaire Village lost a treasure this week, Raymond Allaire Village lost a treasure this week, Raymond O’Grady. He was the current Chairman of the Allaire Village Board of Trustees and had dedicated over 15 years of service the Historic Village at Allaire along with considering Allaire his second home.

Known to everyone as Ray, he was exactly that; a ray of sunshine, a ray of strength, a ray of optimism, a ray of knowledge, a ray of determination, a ray of dedication, a ray of tenacity, but most of all, a ray of kindness. He filled those around him with sunshine and laughter and enjoyed every moment of living. The Village will forever echo his hearty laugh and we will always remember our beloved Ray. Thank you Ray, we are eternally grateful for you.

“What lies behind us and what lies before us and small matter compared to what lies within us.”
Ralph Waldo Emerson
