History Kids Club is back! In 1822, James P. Allai History Kids Club is back! In 1822, James P. Allaire bought 5,000 acres of land in rural New Jersey with the intention of establishing a bustling iron community. Fourteen years later in 1836, more than 400 people lived and worked in the model village that Allaire built to accommodate his workers. Join us on Sunday, February 11th to explore the whats, whens, whys, and hows of building and establishing a community.

For the craft Show application, we are looking for people who make handmade goods, photograph, and paint for example. We also have The Beer Run where crafter will be selling

Today is #NationalHandwritingDay. In the above pho Today is #NationalHandwritingDay. In the above photo, you will see Hal Allaire's (Mr. Allaire's son) notebook. This notebook was for his French class in the 1850s while at the Institute at Freehold, a now defunct private school. We believe that this was from when he was in elementary or middle school. The Allaire Village Library is OPENING SOON!

The Historic Village at Allaire is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization, licensed by the State of New Jersey to operate and manage the historic property located within Allaire State Park.

Allaire Village does not receive state funding, and relies on donations, membership, and fundraising events to help fulfill our mission of preserving the history of this site, and educating the public about life in the Village in 1836. Donations to Allaire Village are tax deductible.
